All prime numbers up to 49.
You can list them out. What are the factors of 57 through 100, excluding all prime numbers?
Because I was just in 7th grade at a ';School of Excellence'; where 7th graders are required to take Algebra 1, and if you must know, I had to take 2 weeks off because I had to switch my nerve pills. I got buried in make-up work, I'm not spoiled petulant and lazy, I was just trying to get it done. Report Abuse
What are the factors of 57 through 100, excluding all prime numbers?
So someone should handle it for you ? You have a good case !
Why not start by identifying the prime numbers from 57 through 100. That might be a task you can so handle ! In fact, do all the prime numbers from 1 to 100. Eratosthenes did it !
Do you even know what a factor is ? Do you know what makes a number Prime. Your text book might help !
Go for it.
You can expect more craploads of work for your academic career. You talk like the ideal student---spoiled and petulant and lazy. I wish I had many like you ! Your curiosity is underwhelming !
I would just simplify the number you need down to prime factors. These prime factors represent a decent amount of the factors, and can be multiplied by eachother to find more factors.
It takes a short while to do, but it's a very useful and reliable way to find common factors and the like.

I knew that answer of mine was too short to stay like that. I just had the feeling It would suddenly gain 5 paragraphs.
Anyways, wow. I was about to ask you to extend the question's time limit, because I felt like writing a program for this just for fun. Needless to say, you blew it.
Btw I tend to speak very matter-of-factly when talking about stuff like social conventions. I can't help it. So, no, I'm not purposely stating the obvious when explaining that we weren't purposely stating the obvious. Irony just follows me everywhere I go.
I partly see where you're coming from. This is such a large amount of work and you don't really need it to get through math, so you shouldn't have to do it, right? I agree. It is very time consuming to compile a list or data chart like this. But we shouldn't have to, either.
And though we think you're a bit insane to give us such a gigantic request, there is still nothing that wrong with asking; it's possible somebody here already made such a list a long time ago. But in the probable case that nobody has, you cannot expect somebody to make one on the spot.
It would take somebody at least 9 hours making it before they could be sure every number has every factor listed. Few people have that kind of free time.
And why are you calling us sarcastic? We cannot give you what you're asking for, so we are advising you on the easiest method to get by without it. We're being serious here, and just suggesting our favorite method.
If you misinterpret that as sarcasm, then you are on the right track on how to do it... and you're too closed-minded to realize there's other ways.
But I can't stand the way you speak as if we are picking on you! And then you imply that we somehow know all of these factors, and that we could type it all up in 15 minutes, but instead we just let you suffer!
The community isn't being rude and uncooperative. The community just simply can't help you to the extent to which you want it to.
I'm still going to work on that program. But I won't waste my time using it 44 times and typing up every answer on the computer for you. Even with the program, it will still take about 3 hours to compile the list. I'll pass.
